Course Overview
The most unique event in cycling. L'Eroica requires riders to use vintage bicycles and clothing from before 1987 — steel frames, downtube shifters, wool jerseys. The route crosses the famous strade bianche (white gravel roads) of Tuscany's Chianti wine country. The combination of heritage, beauty and difficulty has made this a phenomenon, spawning editions worldwide. A celebration of cycling's soul.
