The practical application is straightforward. Track your cycle alongside your training for three months. Look for patterns. If your hardest sessions consistently fall in the late luteal phase, move them. You are not training less — you are training smarter.

One critical caveat: individual variation is enormous. Some women notice no performance difference across their cycle. Others see dramatic swings. The only way to know your pattern is to track it.
