Tubeless on road is one of those topics where half the internet says it is a revelation and the other half says it is a mess. Both sides are right. When the tyre-rim system is compatible and the sealant closes a small puncture, the benefit is obvious. Removing the tube also removes one pinch-flat mechanism, which can expand the safe pressure-testing range. That does not mean every tubeless setup should run one amount lower or that lower is always faster.
The trade-off is installation and maintenance. Use only the airflow, tape, valve and sealant process permitted by the wheel, tyre and sealant makers. Inspection intervals and roadside repair options vary by product, temperature and damage, so a backup plan matters as much as the setup.

Check your wheels are tubeless-compatible
Check the exact wheel manual and approved tyre list. A TR or TLR marking on one component does not prove that the pair is compatible, especially with hookless rims. If the combination is not explicitly permitted, do not convert it.
Choose the right sealant and quantity
Use a sealant approved for the tyre and wheel, then follow its quantity and inspection interval for the measured tyre size and climate. Record the product and installation date, and do not mix formulations unless both makers permit it.
Carry a spare inner tube and tyre plug kit
Tubeless is not puncture-proof. Carry only the plug, tube, inflation device and mounting tools permitted for the exact wheel and tyre. A sidewall cut, damaged bead or damaged rim requires stopping and recovery rather than an improvised ride-home repair.
