ATL (ACUTE TRAINING LOAD / FATIGUE)

7-day exponentially weighted average of daily TSS. Represents short-term fatigue.

Fatigue counterpart to CTL. Responds quickly to recent training. TSB = CTL - ATL estimates form. Negative TSB = fatigued (normal in hard blocks). Positive TSB = rested (target during taper). Race-day sweet spot: +10 to +25.
