Possibly the most beautiful cycling event in the world. The Maratona dles Dolomites passes through the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, crossing seven iconic mountain passes in a single day. The event is massively oversubscribed — entry is by ballot only — making it one of the most coveted bibs in cycling. The climbs are relentless, the scenery is otherworldly, and the atmosphere is electric.
